Travelling With Children

kok-DEP-travel_children.jpg

Flying when you’re a child is both exciting and a little scary.

It is a good idea to discuss your trip in advance so that the little ones are prepared for what will happen at the airport and onboard!

Prepare for flying by packing favorite books, games or other conveniently-sized leisure activities for during the flight or when waiting at the airport. A children’s play area is located in the terminal, in front of the security check area and next to the café, where you can also enjoy a children’s menu. There is a changing table in the disabled toilet, for your convenience.

Please check the regulations in advance for how child safety seats and pushchairs should be packed. Different airlines have different regulations for such items.

Baby food is allowed in reasonable quantities in carry-on bags. Just remember to remove these items from your hand luggage during the security control and show them to the inspector. Also, during the security control children’s toys and soft animals should be placed on the X-ray belt for screening. Note that in accordance with new passport regulations, children must also have their own passports.
